The Tar Bar Pine Tar Mini Bar Vegan/Palm Free Soap
The Witches Brewery Co
Regular price $3.25
This listing is for one bar of pine tar soap weighing approximately 3 oz.
You may be wondering, what is Pine Tar? Pine tar is a sticky substance that results from burning the wood of pine trees. As soap makers, we cannot make medical claims but a quick google search will show you that pine tar has been used for many decades to treat a number of skin conditions including eczema, psoriasis and other forms of dermatitis. It is also said to ease reactions to poison oak and ivy. Pine tar is also known for it's antibacterial and anti-fungal properties. If you are not familiar with the scent of pine tar, please know this is not a fresh pine smell. There is definitely more 'tar' than 'pine'. Pine tar is made from pine trees and is a vegan ingredient.
We use 100% pure, ethically sourced, creosote free pine tar in our products. The natural scent of pine tar is strong but we've chosen to add subtle hints of pure cedarwood and pine essential oil to help complement it.
Spiritually, placing pine into a bath is said to remove mental negativity. The scent of pine is also said to attract money.

~Why is natural soap better?
-Naturally occurring glycerine content. In most commercial brands, glycerine is removed. In naturally made soap we leave the glycerine that occurs during the soap making process in the bar where it belongs.
-All of our ingredients are clearly labeled and there are no cover all terms for the products we use to create our soaps.
- Soap made with the cold or hot process method (from scratch) preserves the integrity of the oils and butters used in the soap making process. If you put coconut oil in, it is still coconut oil when the soap is done saponifying and you will reap the benefits of the products used.
-You are not washing chemicals down your drain when you use natural soap.
-You can reap the aromatheraputic rewards of soaps made with pure essential oils
All of our bars are handcrafted in small batches and therefore may vary slightly in appearance and weight.
Ingredients: Saponified oils of coconut, olive, grapeseed, apricot kernel and sunflower. Shea butter. Sodium hydroxide, pine tar, kaolin clay, essential oils of cedarwood and pine.
